I love this. When I was in China, a native who was escorting me and 2 others around took me for a facial. She was using a machine for interpreting. She told me in advance how the facial will work. "They will spread poison all over your face." I was pretty sure something got lost in translation and fortunately I was correct. Your "poison facial" experience made me laugh. The things that get lost in translation! It's the best when both people realize the error and can laugh about it, since pure laughter is one thing that doesn't need any translating.
