What a riot and so relatable! I too love McDonald's. Their chicken nuggets are far superior to any other fast food chain out there. And, we (I) tried to convince ourselves that we could be a dog family four different times, also once during COVID. Turns out that my husband and I are dog people. Our kids? Not so much.
I knew I was on the right work team when I felt safe to shamelessly admit my life-long love of the Filet-O-Fish sandwich.
Also, losing "a footrace to a cold tortoise" made me laugh!
