I have an admission to make. I almost never feel like starting the thing I know deep-down I want to do. Lovely things like….motivation…and “liking it” come well after I’ve had the initial idea and only after I start.
Knowing this, I no longer wait for motivation to get going. Whether you call it “discipline” or simply “doing what you know you need to do,” it serves you well to muster it often since it’s how you come to build trust with yourself. And often it’s the only thing that gets you out the door.
Here’s to just getting going on your thing, and shortening the early stages on the road to motivation.
I’m so glad you’re here. See you in the next one…
