My grandma packs around a quote she clipped out of a Reader’s Digest magazine decades ago:
To plant a garden is to have hope for the future.
Don’t you just love that? Barbara might love her Montana garden and petunias more than me, but I don’t mind.
I may not be a gardener like her, but here's what I know, more than ever, about growing a dream:
Talking about it (or comparing) = Shade
Taking action and believing = Sun
Simplifying = Weeding, so the good can grow
It has been suggested to me that I’m missing Watering, but like I said, I’m no gardener. Plus, I like my simple recipe too much to disturb it.
