My husband has been wanting us to play pickleball for a few years now. I am afraid to lol. I suck at remembering what to call out its the only thing that deters me. ugh
I so get this! In fact, one of the most regretable experiences of my life was when I was getting into pickleball and was playing with more experienced players. I hemmed and hawed and self-doubted and apologized over whether a dumb ball was in or out and caused so much drama in an attempt to be perfectly accurate. Now I tell newer players it's better to call it confidently than be 100% right (which is impossible to assess in a split second anyway) :) The game is so worth getting into so I hope you do!
Ha! If you lived near I'd make (er, invite) you come play with our very fun and casual bunch of players since you have to get on the court for the game to ever get fun (and it happens almost immediately). I'd love to know know when you go for the first time!

Thank you for that encouragement! I will now go and watch 20 more youtube videos until I feel I can go practice with just him. LOL baby steps.
