Doing What You're Meant to Do: Hard, But Not Heavy
MTYL Memo #25: Get on the same side as your dreams.
Here’s something for dreamers and builders to think about:
You’re never going to feel at ease in a life you’re not meant to be living. You may, however, feel comfortable—or like you’re pushing a rock uphill.
You’re also not going to feel comfortable doing what you’re meant to do. But this is work you can do with ease.
You choose.
Doing your work with ease does not mean it will be easy, just that you’ve finally gotten on the same side as yourself and your dreams.
And when you’re not sure what to do, you take action, explore, rest, and reevaluate—releasing what’s heavy, wary of comfort, and always on the lookout for ease.

As I was reading, I was reminded of what Buddha teaches—life is suffering. Whether we like it or not, it's not always going to be easy.
